Please be informed of a change in Argentina to certification requirements for products employing integral standard outlet sockets. (e.g. uninterruptible power supplies, power distribution units, temporary power taps, etc.). Such products falling under mandatory certification under Resolution ex-SICyM Nº 92/1998 must employ IRAM certified plugs and sockets (IRAM 2071, IRAM 2073 or IRAM 2063) without intermediate coupling or adapters of any kind, including electrical extensions, according to the stated in Resolution ex SIcy M Nº 524/98.
All new submittals having plugs or socket outlets of the non-standard type (example, inverse IEC/EN 320 type for interconnection) cannot be certified under Resolution ex-SICyM No 92/1998.
Please note that Resolution 76/2002 has some exemptions for products not falling under Resolution 92/1998 (such as products for professional use, products rated more than 63 A, etc.) and importers must apply to Argentine authorities to clear customs

Hi, I'm not clear on what this is saying.
What does "Stops Safety Cerification" mean? Does it say that S-Mark is no longer required for AC / DC adapters?
