Tips:
1) Anatel is the regulator
2) In-Country testing required in local test laboratories according to various Anatel Resolutions. For some very complex and large equipment, Anatel may grant authorization to witness testing in manufacture's local test house.
3) Certification Body (OCD) must review the test results from laboratory and issue a certificate.
4) Submittal by the OCD or importer is then made to Anatel for the homologation.
5) Markings on product require the Anatel logo, EAN Bar Code and Number and Anatel Homologation Number
6) Instructions in compliance information in Portuguese may be required depending on the equipment
7) Lead Times approx. 2-3 weeks for the tests, 1 week for the OCD cert and 2 weeks for the Anatel homologation.
2)
how do you get EAN Bar Code ?
