·        Under Section 91(1) of the Info-communications Media Development Authority Act 2016, which came into force on 1 October 2016, all dealer’s licences and equipment registrations previously issued by IDA before 1 October 2016, will remain in force and will be deemed to be issued by IMDA.  All conditions in the respective dealer’s licence and equipment registration will remain the same.

Argentina - Telecom/Radiocom Regulator Now ENACOM

There is now a new regulator ENACOM (ENTE NACIONAL DE COMMUNICACIONES) created by the new government in Argentina.

ENACOM now regulates all telecom/radiocom equipment entering Argentina.

By a Argentina Government Decree No. 267/2015, ENACOM has 60 business days from December 29, 2015 to reorganize their internal processes. This is delaying all certs for telecom/radiocom equipment previously submitted to AFTIC and all new submittals to ENACOM.

Looks like every time there is a new government in Argentina, a new regulator is formed. As most of you know AFTIC was not too long ago established to replace CNC.
