You will need to approach one of the Notified Bodies to provide you with a Type Examination Certificate if you have not used one of the harmonized standards listed in the Official Journal (OJ) listed in the below link. This Type Examination Certificate Notified Body Name and Certificate # must appear on your RED Declaration of Conformity (DoC)

Europe - ROHS Directive 2011/65/EU

European Directive 2011/65/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (recast) was published on July 1 2011 in the Official Journal of the European Union.

The directive enters into force 20 days after publication and all EU Member States must have the directive enacted into their local member state law no later than 18 months after publication.

Russia - New Regulations Effective February 15th, 2010

RF Government Resolution dated December 1, 2009 N 982 came into force on 15th February 2010. The Resolution specifies a new list of products subject to mandatory certification and products subject to conformity assurance by making a declaration of conformity.
