Jordan - Radio LAN Specifications
Operation bands: Radio LAN systems in Jordan must operate in the
following spectrum bands:
a. 2 400 – 2 483.5 MHz.
b. 5 150 – 5 350 MHz.
c. 5 725 – 5 875 MHz.
Output Power: the Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) must not
exceed the following limitations:
a. 100mW (20dBm) in the 2 400 – 2 483.5 MHz band.
b. 200mW (23dBm) in the 5 150 – 5 350 MHz band.
c. 200mW (23dBm) in the 5 725 – 5 875 MHz band.
Antennas: For Radio LAN systems with confined-area of a building
applications, only antennas with an isotropic gain less than 6dBi are permitted
to be employed.

All Countries - IECEE CB Scheme - Acceptance of Test Reports from Manufacturer's Test Facilities
Under some IECEE CB Scheme programs, manufacturers are allowed to have tests done at their facilities and CB test reports are marked with the following designations:
SMT (Supervised Manufacturer's Testing)
TMP (Testing at Manufacturer’s Premises)
WMT (Witnessed Manufacturer’s Testing)
RMT (Recognised Manufacturer’s Testing)
Manufacturers involved in these programs should note that some countries that do accept CB Scheme reports to grant their national Marks will not accept test reports covered under some of these programs done at manufacturer's test dacilities (example: China will not accept a CB Scheme report marked SMT).

Mexico - New Resolution - Acceptance of US/Canadian Certs at the Border in Lieu of NOM Certs
On August 17, 2010, the Mexican Government published in the official Gazette a new resolution to make easier for the the importation of products into Mexico of electronic products. In essence, the Mexican government sees the NOM Mexican Regulations to be equivalent to the US and Canadian Standards.
With this resolution, the Mexican Importer can now show the Mexican Authorities in customs wither the mandatory NOM safety certificate OR the Certificate issued by the following certification bodies located in the USA or Canada only.
USA: Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Intertek Testing Services, and TUV Rheinland of North America
Canada: Canadian Standards Association CSA, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and Intertek Testing Services
The equivalence of the safety NOM regulations with the US and Canadian Standards are as follows:
Audio/Video Products:
Mexico: NOM 001 for audio and video products
US: ANSI/UL 60065 seventh edition audio, video and similar electronic 60065 safety requirements 2003 and the UL 6500 standard for audio/video and musical instrument apparatus for household, commercial and similar general use 1999 approved by ANSI, American National Standards Institute
Canada: CAN / CSA-C22 No. 60065-2003 +Amendment 1: 2006 audio/video and similar electronic apparatus-safety requirements approved by Standards Council of Canada from the Canadian electric code.
